Feel Better

(Belated) Multitudes on Mondays.  For the second Monday in a row I am vividly reminded how blessed I am.

# 184-194 of my One Thousand Gifts.

I am sitting in a family waiting room writing this as somewhere within this massive facility a skilled surgeon is working on my husband.  A positive and bright man he inspired confidence in me with his self-assured manner.  The pleasant anesthesiologist and cheerful nurses made me feel I was leaving my husband in good hands.  We are here for a minor concern.  As I look around me I realize this is the first of my blessings this day.

I am also thankful for…

Good health

The access to quality medical care

The access to fresh water

And healthy, fresh foods

For gifted people who are well trained to provide medical care

For up-to-date medical facilities

The miracle of amazing bodies that heal

For loving family who support each other through thick and thin

For God’s grace

About may

I am a married mother of three fabulous young adults. I have been married to one great guy for over a quarter of a century and hope we haven't reached the halfway point of our marriage yet. Writing helps me sort things out and allows me to avoid unsavory tasks that I probably should be doing. I've reached middle age in middle America and am anxious to see what comes next.

Thinking of you often…praying for you daily…believing in you – always. :)
Sending positive thoughts your way, hope all is okay.

Thanks so much! There was one bumpy point yesterday, but all is well now. He is on pain medication, and I got him to watch an old Carey Grant movie with me this afternoon. So, we are mellowed out and doing OK.
